Wildflower Sideboard

The Wildflower Sideboard

Swankety Swank Showcase proudly presents the Wildflower Sideboard!  Measuring 36″H x 48″W x 17″D, this aged, sturdy wood sideboard, buffet or cabinet has had a new makeover by furniture artist and Swankety Swank owner, Yabette.  It features a hand painted wild flowers inspired by vintage fabric in hues of brown.  This design ties together its original aged patina front and the painted cream parts that needed the refinishing.  It has its original handles, center velvet lined drawer, carved wood front and dove tailed, solid wood drawer construction.  This signed art piece would be a lovely addition to an eclectic modern, artfully traditional or bohemian vintage decor. Furniture by Yabette: Steampunk Style

Greetings, home decor aficionado! It is time again for a mini-retrospective of the amazing art furniture by Yabette!  Swankety Swank was founded upon “Honoring Beauty, Earth and Age” and today we showcase three amazing Steampunk inspired pieces that do just that!

Steampunk “is a sub-genre of science fiction, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s.  The term denotes fictional works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used, usually the 19th century and often Victorian era Britain. It has prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy; and it often features anachronistic technology or futuristic innovations as Victorians may have envisioned them.”
